Konrad Laimer will wear the FC Bayern jersey from next season. What has been apparent for many weeks and months should now have been put on paper. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports that Laimer has signed his contract with Munich.
The Austrian national player will move to the German record champions on a free transfer in the summer, and his working paper at RB Leipzig will then expire. Laimer came to the Saxons from the Salzburg sister club for the 2017/18 season for seven million euros.
Now the 25-year-old is going back to his former sponsor Julian Nagelsmann. Laimer is said to have committed himself to Bayern, who were there in the summer but refrained from making a deal because of the 30 million demand. The official announcement is expected in January.
