Meanwhile, in Morelos, the councilman of Puente de Ixtla, Nicéforo Flores González, and the former mayoral candidate, Uriel Mejía Landa, both from the PRD party, were reported missing since January 10.

The relatives of the victims filed separate complaints with the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office and reported that the two PRD politicians left their respective homes and did not return.
