Much like the first game, My Time at Sandrock is set 300 years after the Day of Disaster, a terrible event in which most modern technology was destroyed. Thus, the player embodies a craftsman who has just accepted a job offer to participate in the reconstruction of Sandrock.
When the protagonist arrives, the town is in a wild and rugged state, so it takes hard work and determination to restore the community to its former glory. For this it is necessary to collect resources to build machines, without forgetting to become friends with the inhabitants of Sandrock.
If the game experience revolves a lot around management, we must not neglect the fights that can arise during the defense of the city, or during the exploration of the desert open world.
The game therefore forms a clever mix between management and RPG through a skill tree that allows you to specialize in combat and social interactions.
