The chef and gastronomic entrepreneur, Narda Lepesassured that he is against the use of food delivery apps: “It’s wrong to make someone pedal 15 kilometers fast for you to eat two empanadas.”

Narda spoke out against the system and said that he discards it for his restaurants but also pointed out that never ordered food through an app.

“I don’t use any ordering app, ever, ever,” said the cook. “I don’t use them. It seems to me that it’s wrong for me to make someone pedal fast 15 kilometers for you to eat two empanadas. It seems stupid to me,” she explained.

He also criticized the “Turbo” option that offers a recognized app so that orders arrive in less than 10 minutes at homes. Otherwise, they return the money to the buyer.

“It’s 10 minutes and if you don’t arrive, they give you your money back. And they kill the one on the bike, they hang him in the public square and stone him,” ironized one of the journalists who interviewed her.

Developing his explanation, he added: “If all the decisions that are made are made by a marketing asshole without a philosophical input, it’s wrong. Do you understand? It’s wrong.”

So he called on consumers “to think several times” before using delivery apps.

“Is it okay or not okay? Is it okay that… no, that I’m such a jerk I can’t get up and go down and buy empanadas from someone who makes them two blocks from my house?” he questioned.
