They claim that rapper Diddy had no knowledge of federal investigation

NEW YORK.- American rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sued by a former adult film star for assault and sex trafficking, according to court documents released Thursday.

Combs is the subject of several civil lawsuits describing him as a violent sexual predator who used alcohol and drugs to subdue his victims, leading to several of his homes being raided by federal agents this year.

The hip-hop artist, known as Puff Daddy or Diddy, used former pornographic actress Adria English as a sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial gain of others during his lavish “White Parties” in the Hamptons and Florida from 2004 to 2009, the lawsuit alleges.

The new lawsuit, filed Wednesday in a Manhattan court, brings to nine the number of claims against the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist since November 2023.

“Considering all the brave people who have come forward against defendant Combs, (English) is doing the same,” the court document reads.

English is seeking a jury trial and undisclosed damages.

“Due to the numerous lawsuits filed against Defendant Combs alleging the same or similar acts, there is growing awareness that Defendant Combs engaged in far more sinister acts than previously known, including physical abuse and sex trafficking,” the lawsuit added.

Trial against Combs

In March, armed agents raided Combs’ luxury properties in Miami and Los Angeles, a raid that raised suspicions that an investigation was underway against the rapper.

In May, surveillance video surfaced showing Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer and model Casandra Ventura, corroborating allegations she made in a lawsuit settled out of court late last year.

Combs has vehemently denied all allegations. His lawyer did not immediately respond to an AFP request for comment on the new case.
