Through his social networks, the director of Lenovo’s mobile division Chen Jin posted another teaser of the new device in the Moto Razr line. Now on video, the foldable cell phone appears at its front angle, with images of the camera module and the external screen.

The content reaffirms the arrangement of the rear lenses, with two components aligned horizontally. Unlike what happens in the Razr 2022, the optical components must be “loose” on the back panel.

Even if it does not appear clearly in the video, the external display must be among the biggest news of the device. After all, the panel must gain much larger dimensions, to rival the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Find N2 Flip, for example.

Additionally, the text of Jin’s post references support for higher refresh rates. It is likely that he is talking about the external screen itself, since the internal folding display already has a frequency of 144 Hz on the Razr 2022.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will bring Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1

If the teaser does not reveal more information about Motorola’s new foldable devices, previous rumors have already covered a good part of the Razr 40 Ultra’s specifications.

Recent performance tests on the Geekbench platform have shown that the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 as the main performance component. The processor was Qualcomm’s most powerful until the end of last year, with clocks of up to 3.19 GHz.

Furthermore, the benchmark also revealed that the Razr 40 Ultra (which can be called as Razr Plus 2023 in China) will have at least one version with 8GB of RAM. However, an option with 12 GB is not ruled out.

In addition, it was also revealed that the device will run Android 13 out of the box. The operating system may have some adaptations aimed at foldable devices, in addition to expanding the possibilities of use with the cell phone closed.

The amount of extra information about the model is still scarce, but it has already been said that it should have a 6.7-inch OLED internal screen – therefore, similar to the Razr 2022.

In addition to the Razr 40 Ultra, Motorola could also increase the lineup with a new Lite model. In this way, the brand would resume the folding segment with intermediate characteristics, which was the focus of the first flexible screen Razr in 2019.
