At the turn of the year Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery arguably the best-selling cinematic on Netflix. Just last week we heard about the great success of the crime thriller sequel Daniel Craig reported in the lead role. But now the strip has been dethroned by a new contender. This is how it is currently The Memorable Case of Mr. Poe #1 on the Netflix charts. The film, which in English has the title The Pale Blue Eye tells the story of a detective in 1830s New York and is based on a 2003 book.

New leader on Netflix

According to the Flixpatrol website, the film has been number 1 in Germany since January 7. Gamesradar emphasizes that the strip has made it into the streaming provider’s top 10 in over 70 countries since its release on January 6. The reviews for the thriller with Christian Bale in the leading role, however, are not particularly enthusiastic.
