Christmas is also the holiday of food. Some like it simple and hearty, others cook and sizzle a menu.
In BILD, the celebrities say what’s on their table today.
TV chef Horst Lichter (60): “I’m not at the stove myself on Christmas Eve, but my wife Nadja. Then there is the traditional roast rabbit.”
The actresses Simone (57) and Sophia Thomalla (33): “We have potato salad with sausages every year – but not pork.”
ChrisTine Ursprechen (52, Tatort): “Christmas goose and on Boxing Day meat and cheese fondue.”
“Bergdoktor” star Ronja Forcher (26): “I’m a vegetarian. That’s why there’s home-baked bread for me with a nice cheese board. My family, on the other hand, eats meat.”
Actor Wolfgang Stumph (76): “Silesian bratwurst, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Grandma introduced it. There would be problems if that didn’t come up on the table.”
Dennenesch Zoudé (56): “Goose with red cabbage, Brussels sprouts and dumplings for the guests. For me, since I don’t like dumplings, then boiled potatoes. I’m very traditional, I cook myself.”
Rebecca Immanuel (52): “Christmas Eve has traditional potato salad with sausages – real and vegan. And on Christmas Day we celebrate with red cabbage, bread dumplings, a small vegetarian roast and beef roulades for the meat plants. As well as homemade tiramisu.”
Cathy Hummels (34) goes with her son Ludwig (4) in Dubai to a restaurant where there is a buffet for children and where Santa Claus comes. She: “Everything will be there – from sushi to vegan to red cabbage.”
