Today (May 8), the group OMEGA-X of 11 members posted on their official Instagram account to announce that they and SPIRE Entertainment have mutually agreed to terminate the boyband’s exclusive contracts.
The decision comes after a months-long dispute over contracts for OMEGA-X, after accusations that the former CEO of SPIRE EntertainmentKang Seong-hee, had verbally abused and groped the boy band members.

OMEGA X: “As a result, (we) decided to end all disputes with our former agency SPIRE Entertainment, and agreed to work for the development of K-pop in our respective positions.”
The lawyer of OMEGA-X had previously stated plans to press charges against former SPIRE Entertainment CEO Kang for allegedly “threatening, assaulting, and exploiting members.”
The accusations that Kang had mistreated OMEGA X They first surfaced in October 2022, when SBS News published several video clips that were said to depict Kang verbally abusing and groping the group members.
