Hermosillo, Sonora, May 14, 2023.- The Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, was surrounded by the affection of *more than 10,000 people from the 72 municipalities of Sonora who gathered at the Expo Forum of the entity, where he gave the keynote address “Government policies for the benefit of the people”, where he stressed that the fourth transformation should only take steps towards the future in favor of citizens, because that is how democracy is built .

“Not one step back in the transformation of Mexico… Our movement starts from a base, love for the people of Mexico,” he stressed.

To the rhythm of the batucada, the Sonorans showed their support for Sheinabum Pardo with hugs, applause, cheers in which different slogans were chanted such as: President, President!, as well as banners that read messages such as “Women at 100 with Claudia”, “We are all Claudia”, among others that decorated the venue alongside images of her silhouette with royal hats, as well as forming a heart with her hands.

During his presentation, he highlighted that Sonora is currently experiencing historic moments, thanks to the recognition of lithium as a nation’s heritage, but also by the administration of Alfonso Durazo, whom he described as the best governor the entity has ever had, since he is a honest, brave man and a great reference of the fourth transformation led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“We continue to fight for the well-being of the people of Mexico,” he added.

Sheinbaum Pardo shared some of the most significant achievements of his government in the capital, which has guaranteed access to universal rights, such as education with a scholarship for all students, as he assured that only in this way everyone’s abilities can be potentiated; “all the boys and girls in the city are talented, as are all the children in the country,” he said.

In addition, he emphasized the work carried out in terms of mobility with a historic investment in new technologies for public transport, in the creation of new spaces for the coexistence of families in public parks, as well as the guarantee of quality medical care. , but she also stressed the importance of working to ensure that women can fulfill all their dreams, since she pointed out that they are the ones who fight for the family and for the homeland, especially in Sonora.

“The fourth transformation has also opened the space for women … No one can take away a girl’s sleep, not even a young Mexican woman,” she commented.

At the beginning of the event, the governor pointed out that Claudia Sheinbaum is the perfect example of how someone at the head of a government should be; “As a ruler, she has been extremely humble, as we Sonorans like, simple, humble, down to earth.”

He also described her as a committed, honest and loyal woman, since her permanence from the beginning of the movement of the fourth transformation was essential to bring the light of hope to all of Mexico; “Claudia is a pioneer of our movement, before us there was Claudia,” she concluded.

On her work tour, the energy doctor from UNAM held a meeting with Alfonso Durazo to follow up on the progress of the collaboration agreement between governments, signed in 2022 in digital matters with the aim of facilitating access to the people to different procedures through the creation of strategies such as “Digital Sonora”, “Llave Sonora”, as well as the initiative of a new regulation called “Digital Sonora Law”.

In this regard, the head of government guaranteed that this type of teamwork between administrations is essential to continue advancing in the transformation; “There is this idea that governments do not have technological innovation as part of our processes, that this corresponds to the private initiative and that must be broken… governments can be efficient, we can be progressive, governments of the fourth transformation and at the same time at the same time having innovation as a substantive part”, he highlighted.

For his part, the head of the state government, Alfonso Durazo, took advantage of the signing of the “Digital Sound Law” initiative, in which Claudia Sheinbaum served as an honorary witness to thank the Mexico City government for its support by lending her experiences to take giant steps in the digitization of Sonora; “Thank you Claudia for the extraordinary support that the City government gives us, and here you will always be recognized for this contribution that puts the state of Sonora at the forefront,” he also pointed out that thanks to her, Mexico City is the entity that best represents the fourth transformation, since the head of government is the one who best understands the principles of the movement.

Upon her arrival in Yaqui lands, Claudia Sheinbaum was received by the governor, by members of the Comcaác Nation, as well as by supporters, who took advantage of the moment to show part of the state’s culture with the presentation of the Deer Dance, Cultural Heritage Intangible of Humanity by Unesco, give him some handicrafts and welcome him to the rhythm of northern music.
