The Jahn gymnastics are training again in the Parkstadion.

Lustenau “Training outdoors opens up completely different possibilities for us than indoors,” says lead athlete and trainer Hannah Gunz (15). Since this week, the athletics groups of the Jahn Turnerschaft have been training again in the Parkstadion. Despite the cool temperatures, the coaches and children are looking forward to moving around the stadium again. The children carry out jump coordination exercises, run their laps on the track and, among other things, practice the long jump again. The season is open.

The youngsters Hannah Gunz, Julie Schwarmann and Hannah Duelli are already experienced track and field athletes and want to pass on their knowledge to the little ones in the club. That is why they are always there in addition to the trainers and give the children valuable tips during the exercises. The young athletes happily do the exercises and are proud that even the “big ones” watch them and train with them.

First outdoor workout

Chairman Michael Duelli was also present at the first outdoor training session and was happy about the successful start in the Parkstadion. “All age groups from the U8 upwards can now be found here again,” he said. The Sprintstüble in the stadium also opens its doors for the watching parents. There they can warm up, talk to each other and watch their children train. bv
