Finally the time has come. The Netflix series “Outer Banks” is now in its third round on February 23. The sequel to the popular series was announced back in December 2021 and fans were really excited for the new episodes.
But HOW happy were the main actors about the continuation of the shoot? Because they play a love duo – and are in fact ex-partners.
The Netflix adventure is about teenager John B, who, together with his friends, goes in search of a treasure that his father was looking for. In vain, because he disappeared without a trace. At least that’s what they thought…

So you might think that the filming of the third season was uncomfortable for the two main actors. Because let’s face it – who would want to make out with their ex-partner in front of the camera when they just recently broke up…
However, the two approached the matter very professionally. As Madelyn now told Cosmopolitan, “We’ve always said that work is sacred.” Nevertheless, she admits that it’s not always easy to play lovers with your ex.

When asked if she regrets making their relationship public, Madelyn has a straight answer: “I’m a very private person. There’s a part of me that’s only there for me and no one else. But in hindsight, making my relationship public made it everyone else’s business. And I realized the negative effects of that.”
Madelyn’s new love
Maybe there will be a love comeback between Madelyn and Chase, the fans hoped for a long time. Because when she’s on camera for Netflix kissing again, old feelings might flare up again. But: puff cake. SHE already has someone else.
She confesses to Cosmopolitan: “I’m happily taken”. Now, of course, everyone is wondering who won the heart of the pretty blonde. She wants to keep that to herself this time. “I just know that he makes me incredibly happy” – and that should also please the fans.
