Juarez City.– With the obligation to win the second game of the series, the Owls surprised the Vultures team with a 5-9 comeback in the seventh inning of the game. After being heavily outclassed on Saturday afternoon, the feathered returned to Carta Blanca Stadium prepared to claim their offensive power in the second chapter of the grand final.
Both teams displayed solid defense through the first four innings, as Scavengers pitcher Andrés Ledezma and the Owls’ Joel Rodríguez dished out multiple strikeouts for their opponents.
Finally, the scoring was opened at the top of the fifth inning, when a powerful shot from batter Diego Ramírez allowed the scavenger to advance to second base in the diamond.
