Juarez City.– Former teachers’ leader Alejandro Villarreal Aldaz, arrested and later acquitted for the crime of embezzlement in an investigation of the ‘X-Files’, assured that he was the victim of harassment and persecution by former Governor Javier Corral. “Corral forced us because of his illness, his pathology of messianism, fascism, his unhealthy persecution and that pathology of seeing us suffer, because in the closed circuit of the prison in Aquiles Serdán he had direct access to the cameras in his office and he enjoyed seeing us. locked up, to see us bathe, to let us sleep with the light on, he enjoyed seeing us undress before leaving or returning from an audience. He explained that Corral Jurado treated his case with special ridicule after refusing to be harassed by the former president. “I was harassed by Corral and as a result of this, hatred and permanent persecution arose against me, insulting my image, dirtying my career,” Villarreal Aldaz noted, when recalling some episodes he lived with the former president since 2018.
“At the beginning of his administration, even a friend told me, he sent me messages and dialed every day. It was all a matter of him denying me his impure desires, his deviation; I’m not criticizing, I’m a pro-liberties political actor, everyone defines their sexual orientation, but when you use power to help you satisfy your socio-emotional or physiological needs, then it becomes a crime and I was not willing for him to commit a crime in my person and abuse the power that he held, it was there that everything broke down and the persecution came,” he commented.
Villarreal Aldaz was arrested in June 2018 accused of the crime of embezzlement for allegedly having received several million pesos from the administration of César Duarte, this as part of the “Justice for Chihuahua” operation that was investigating the diversion of resources during that mandate.
At that time, Villarreal was the national coordinator of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE) for Youth and headed the list of candidates for multi-member deputies of the New Alliance Party.
It was not until 2021 when a resolution of a collegiate court exonerated the former leader of Section 8 of the SNTE from three criminal cases in which he was accused of aggravated embezzlement and alleged embezzlement.
“What Corral did to me has left me physical and psychological scars. The public ridicule to which we were subjected, to which our family was subjected, the permanent expense of legally addressing the false accusations, of taking care of my health and my family, leads to a permanent consequence and to all of us who still maintain communication after what Corral forced us because of his sick persecution,” he said. “I shouldn’t have been in prison, they took away three years of my freedom,” he said.
Now free, Villarreal Aldaz said he feared for his life and says that three years after being released, he still receives death threats.
“I had and still have death threats from Javier Corral. Until this is over and justice is done. Javier Corral has financial reach and he has acquaintances in other parts of the country who could help him commit an atrocity such as an attack against a server or against another person… I realize that there are people who are watching me, they are still being vigilant,” he warned. .
The situation led him to file a criminal complaint in April of last year for the crime of threatening to kill. However, he assured that, on the advice of his team of lawyers, he refrains from airing new complaints before judicial authorities.
