The agency indicated that there are 12 days of tests, which are carried out strictly to verify the correct operation of the train control system, as well as the interaction with the track.

“They have the participation of Metro specialists in the areas of Operation, Transportation, Rolling Stock and Fixed Installations, which has the purpose of reopening the 9 stations that make up the underground section,” he said.

The reopening of Line 12 will take place next Sunday, January 15, which will benefit an average of 174,000 daily users, he said.

The underground section of Line 12 was intervened since last year with the purpose of improving 7 curves with radii of less than 300 meters, for which rails, sleepers, fixings and ballast were replaced.
