The police are looking for a cyclist who is said to have bumped into a woman (31) from Bochum from behind on Wednesday evening, January 18, at around 6:30 p.m. in Bochum-Werne and then stole the wallet protruding from her jacket pocket. The whole thing is said to have happened in the area of the street “Zur Werner Heide”.
The cyclist then fled. He is said to have driven a black trekking bike for men. The suspect was described as slim and dressed in a black cap, pants and jacket. The criminal inspectorate asks for witnesses on 0234/ 909 82 05 or -4441 (criminal station).
