A passenger was injured in a collision between two cars in Essen-Bergeborbeck on Friday night. Rescue workers transported the victim to a hospital. But the injuries shouldn’t be too severe.
As police spokesman Pascal Schwarz-Pettinato explained in the morning, both parties stated that they drove to the intersection of Bottroper Strasse and Econova Allee when the light turned green. That’s how it got to the collision between a Skoda and a Ford.
The airbags in the cars were deployed on impact, and the vehicles were badly damaged. The police are investigating.
