The government prepares the previous trip 4the fourth edition of the tourism promotion program that benefits Argentines with a reimbursement of 50% of what was spent in the form of credit that can be used in more services than what is considered the “tourist chain”.

Although the specific details are not yet known, the Minister of Tourism and Sports Matthias Lammens He told a press conference in Chapadmalal that the move will take place in the off-season of the first half of 2023.

Sources from the tourism portfolio explained that Previaje 4 will take place during May and June, “after the summer season and before the winter holidays”to boost the low season, just like the third edition of the program did last year.

And, just like the predecessor versions, they indicated that it will work by granting the 50% of what is spent on tourism in advance in the form of credit, so that this money can be reinvested by the beneficiaries in the “tourist chain”that is, in all businesses and activities related to this market. The refund will be extended to 70% in the case of PAMI retirees.

For the fourth edition of the benefit, it is expected to “exceed the numbers of Previaje 3” -one million people reached and an economic impact of $35,000 million pesos-, according to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

“Hand in hand with Previaje, tourism created tens of thousands of jobs during 2022, generating opportunities in every corner of the country. With the impulse of the arrival of millions of tourists from abroad, 2023 will be a record year for the sector”, said the minister days ago.

“This idea of propping up the weaker months worked very well with Previaje 3 in October and November 2022, with more than a million people traveling through the country. That is why this is going to be replicated this first semester of 2023. We want to reinforce the idea that with Previaje there is no low season”, added Lammens.
