Juarez City.’ The tourist offer for the summer is gathered in Expo Viaja 2023, which in its 17th edition projects an economic income of more than 26 million pesos and the influx of more than 4 thousand visitors during this weekend.
The inauguration of Expo Viaja, led by the Secretary of Tourism, Edibray Gómez Gallegos, was attended by state and municipal authorities, as well as representatives of the governments of Sonora and Ixtapa, Guerrero.
Adalberto Castro, general director of Expo Viaja, thanked the support of the different actors in the tourism sector for 17 years and bet that the exhibition continue to grow and have the presence of the different states of the country to do business with the businessmen of Chihuahua
The estimate in this edition, he said, exceeds the figure of 26 million pesos in economic benefits for exhibitors.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Tourism, Edibray Gómez Gallegos, recognized the work of Expo Viaja, which offers vacation packages with special rates and safely.
He indicated that 9 out of 10 attendees to the exhibition have returned to subsequent editions, and of that 90%, half have reserved or bought their vacations at the event, which reveals its success.
Expo Viaje takes place during and tomorrow at the Convention Center, with the presence of travel agencies, hotels, airlines and representatives of various tourist destinations that offer visitors the best promotions and offers on vacation packages.
