There are six animal activists who participate in the demonstration, and who are part of the Somos Su Voz group, who came together to gather signatures from the citizens so that the animal returns to Culiacán, Sinaloa, where it was previously, or its habitat is rehabilitated. .
“We don’t want this new resident to live 21 years like Modesto did,” said animal rights activist Ana Félix.
He announced that on May 19 the group of animalists will have a meeting with Carla Rivas, Secretary of Human Development and Common Good of the State Government, to whom they will show the signatures that were obtained from the citizens, as well as their petitions in favor of of the giraffe
“He deserves that if he is going to be here for 21 years, delighting the pupils of the visitors, at least he has a decent place to balance his diet,” said Felix.
