A march in tribute to little Rose, murdered on Tuesday April 25 in the Vosges. Relatives called on residents to wear pink, the girl’s favorite color. The rally is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Rambervillers in the Vosges, where we find Laurence Duvoid.

“It is from the home of Rose’s parents, in front of which a lot of flowers, candles, stuffed animals have been placed, that the pink march will start. Everyone is invited, at the request of the parents, to dress in pink, to sow rose petals all along the route in tribute to Rose-Izabela”, details Laurence Duvoid, in duplex from Tambervillers (Vosges). The girl was found dead in a plastic bag on Tuesday, April 25.

Anger and injustice

“The suspect, now in pre-trial detention, was known to the courts. He had been indicted a year ago for raping two minors. A murder that sparked, in this small town of less than 5,000 inhabitants, a lot of emotion, each identifying with the pain of these parents”reports Laurence Duvoid. “Anger, injustice, also predominate in view of the suspect’s journey and the questions it raises in the population, all the more so during this holiday period, when children could play in front of their parents’ homes, like Rose did it”, recalls the journalist. Hundreds of people are expected Saturday afternoon to pay their respects.
