Tom Krauss has commented on the ongoing transfer rumors about himself. “I’m not interested. I want to keep the class with Schalke and then I have a contract here.”, ‘Sky’ quoted the 21-year-old midfielder as saying. Schalke 04 can sign the loan from RB Leipzig for 1.5 million euros due to a purchase obligation. However, this only applies if the royal blues manage to stay up. The gap to the saving bank is currently three points.
Krauss has become a regular player at Schalke. The U21 national player now has 29 season games for S04. Eintracht Frankfurt, Mainz 05 and Borussia Mönchengladbach, among others, have taken notice of the youngster’s development. The Bundesliga trio must therefore hope that Schalke will have to go into league two again so that the path is clear for Kraus.
