Second season for SWR series “Almania”
New episodes for the media library series about Phil Laude as an Alman teacher
New challenges for Alman in the form of a teacher: SWR will continue the successful comedy series “Almania”. The media library series not only met the reach targets set for it within a few days, especially among the young target group, it also received a large and positive response from the public. This can now look forward to a sequel that DCM Pictures is developing in cooperation with Digitales, the team of authors around head author Thomas Mielmann, the showrunner leading actor Phil Laude and SWR. The new season will start shooting in July 2023 and will be released in spring 2024.

“We’re happy that our mixture of humor and heart is so well received and we’re really excited for Season 2,” says Phil Laude, describing the mood of the crew and the colleagues at a very diverse city school. The SWR series started on April 21, 2023 in the ARD media library and can still be accessed there. One also offers linear broadcasting on Friday, May 26 from 8:15 p.m Watch all episodes sent in a row.
The first season of “Almania” is under 1.ard.de/almania-serie available in the ARD media library.
One will air the series on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 8:15 p.m.
The second season of “Almania” is scheduled to be released in spring 2024.
