At the same time, official spokesmen explained that “the link between companies involved in triangulation makes it possible to manipulate declared prices to evade the tax.”
In this way, taking into account the investigation, Guillermo Michel, general director of Customs, declared that “Foreign trade dollars are of strategic importance for Argentina”and added that “we will not allow irregular maneuvers to be used to avoid the liquidation of foreign currency in our country.”
