A man was arrested in the last few hours after being denounced by his partner for having intoxicated her and stealing money and a cell phone while she was admitted to the hospital. The event occurred in Oberá, the suspect remains at the disposal of Justice.
As this medium was able to reconstruct based on sources from the force, the complaint was made yesterday by a merchant and a reference tarefera from the San Miguel neighborhood at the First Police Station of the town.
Before the police authorities, he stated that he began a relationship with the suspect, identified as Juan Ramón R. (42), with whom he had lived for more or less four months in this part.
However, shortly after the violent situations emerged and began to be more and more serious, he lamented. Always according to the complaint, the man, a changarín, began to threaten her with death and forced her to give him money.
Even, the victim said, on several occasions he forced her to have sexual relations without her consent. I mean, he abused her.
Meanwhile, he assured that the event that overflowed the glass occurred a week ago, on Wednesday, January 11. She said that they were sharing beers at her brother-in-law’s house until she had a decompensation and she had to be admitted to the Samic de Oberá.
The woman was there one night and assures that the reason is that she was intoxicated by her then partner, although at the moment there are no details of what substance or medicine she used to achieve her goal.
Beyond that, the strongest proof that everything had been planned was discovered when he arrived at his home, since he was able to establish that during the time he was in the hospital the man stole 25,000 pesos from his car and his cell phone.
Given this, and after consulting with the judicial authorities on duty, members of the Misiones Police managed to find the suspect. The changarín then handed over the cell phone voluntarily and was housed in a cell.
The Justice must define when he is summoned to testify and the accusation against him, while the police summary is preliminarily investigated for “aggravated threats by mediating gender violence”, which can be modified if other crimes are verified.
For a matter of jurisdiction for the fact, the Fifth Police Station of the town and the Family Court are now involved. The complainant requested an approach restriction and an anti-panic button.
