The career of Nico Santos
Nico Santos comes from a musical family. His parents, who are also musicians themselves, had him take piano, singing and dancing lessons at the age of six.
Santos grew up on Mallorca. He speaks Spanish and Catalan. His father, who became known as the “Melitta man” in the 90s, had him perform his first songs at festivals.
After graduating from school, Santos studied audio engineering in Cologne and worked as a musician and entertainer in a club there. He started his career on YouTube: his cover songs became click hits there. After that he got appearances with Max Mutzke, Aura Dione and Robyn for ProSieben.
In 2013, his song “Feel It”, which he produced together with B-Case, reached number 6 in the international DJ charts. He produced the official EM hit “We are big” together with Mark Forster.
Nico Santos has already worked with numerous successful artists. Among them the successful DJ Robin Schulz, Sarah Connor or Helene Fischer. He has also written lyrics for successful films such as “Fack ju Göhte 2” (2015) or “Hot Dog” (2018).
As early as May 2020, Nico Santos could be seen on “Sing my song – the exchange concert”. From April 25, 2023 he will also be in the 10th season and exchanges songs with artists like Clueso, LEA or Montez. He also sat by „The Voice of Germany“ 2021 in der Jury.

In June 2022, Nico Santos announced via his Instagram channel that he had married his partner Aileen in Mallorca. The two met more than 10 years ago on Mallorca, but it only sparked almost three years ago.
Santos could imagine having children with his wife soon.
