Despite the fact that you have to have direct access to an internet box, I think we all agree that entering a Wi-Fi key is super boring! Some of you probably already know about the WPS button, but for those who don’t, a little explanation is in order. First, the WPS (Wi-Fi Protect Setup) button helps ease the process of connecting to a secure wireless network from a computer or other device., thanks to a simple pressure. He is generally placed on the side of your internet box or just at the back of the latter – be careful, some manufacturers sometimes use the term “push buttons” to describe it.
To connect to Wi-Fi using this little button, nothing really rocket science, since it is enough, quite simply, to exercise a pressure on the latter for a few seconds. When the light starts flashing, just bring the device you want to use and select the Wi-Fi network to be able to connect without having to enter the (terrible) password. However, it is important to note that not all devices are compatible with Wi-Fi Protect Setup.
You will agree, the handling is not terribly difficult, unlike the contortionist acts to which we were accustomed during our youth. On the other hand, it is necessary to specify that the use of WPS leaves your network accessible to all for a short period of time. So be careful to check the devices connected to your network after performing the said manipulation.
