In a TV interview with Sat.1, the ex-tennis star had Boris Becker (55) announced that he wants to spend more time with his family in the future. But now his tight holiday planning thwarted his resolutions.
Three days before Christmas Eve, the ex-tennis star, who had just been released from prison, visited his mother Elvira (87) in Leimen. His girlfriend Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro (33) even had cake with him. But after just under an hour, the lightning visit was already over.
As BILD learned from her close circle of friends in Leimen, Mama Becker was completely alone in her house at Christmas and was very disappointed. What’s more, Boris is said not to have even told his mom who he was spending the holidays with and, above all, where he was going to be.
Boris is said not to have seen his son Amadeus (12), whom he has with his wife Lilly Becker (46), after his release from prison in mid-December. As BILD found out, he is said not to have even called his youngest at Christmas.

In his TV interview, Becker said of Amadeus: “Of course I miss him enormously and as soon as possible – I can’t go back to England at the moment – he’s only twelve … So you have to organize how he can fly alone can. At some point, we’ll see, but we’ll manage it somehow.”
Instead of looking after his family, Becker vacations on São Tomé, a picturesque island about 200 kilometers off the coast of Africa. From there he posted a video with New Year’s greetings on Instagram: “It’s the last day of the year and I wanted to say a few words to my loved ones and the people who respect me and have stood by me in a year that has been this for me hardest year of my life.”

And further: “Now it’s over and I think I came out stronger than before. I think my mental health is better than before, but I could never have made it without the help and support of so many people.”
Most likely with him on the dream vacation: his girlfriend Lilian. Because the island republic of São Tomé and Príncipe is also the country where Lilian’s family comes from. It is to be hoped that Boris will have more time with Mama Elvira and his children again this year.
A BILD request has so far remained unanswered by Becker’s lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser.
