Mexico City.- This afternoon, a small fire broke out at the La Raza Metro station due to an object that fell on the tracks.

In videos captured by Metro users, the presence of fire is observed near one of the tires of a train that was running on Line 3.

The Metro reported that it was due to a short circuit caused by a metallic object that fell onto the tracks.

“The Metro urges the public user to properly hold their belongings when staying in the area of ​​the train arrival platforms, which cause damage to the equipment of the trains or the tracks,” the STC reported.

The incident was attended by Transportation and Security personnel and a power cut was made to contain the fire and remove the object.

The service was not long in being resumed and circulation was not affected by this event.

The STC reported that during the morning a shoe was also registered in the Indios Verdes area of ​​roads, which also temporarily paused the service.
