After suffering what appears to be a defeat from Kazuya, Jin faces his own destiny.

His mother, Jun Kazama, appears after a long absence to try to turn the tide in this blood feud.

Head of franchise, Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that this game is being developed from scratch, with the help of Unreal Engine 5. In other words, no material from the previous game will be used, as the creative team’s intention is to deliver a unique experience.

According to Harada, all models and assets from Tekken 7 have been discarded, leaving everything to be rebuilt on the upgraded engine. This allows rain and sweat to be much more realistic.

Tekken 7 had something that looked similar, but this is really the first time we’re using rain and external effects on each character. And not only that. When they fall to the ground, their clothes become dirty as a result. Then, you can see the type of battle results in the character models.
