MIAMI.- The model and Mexican presenter Daniella Calatravawho was the image of Televisa of the Gulf, died at the age of 34. The information was made known by her mother, Miryam Ballesteros Bolaos, on social networks. Although she was eight years old fighting against cancer of the breast, it is unknown if this was the cause of death.
“Thank you Heavenly Father for having had the confidence to lend her to me to have her as a daughter on this earth and to be a little piece of heaven that made my house shine,” the writing reads.
With the announcement of her departure, the television network also issued a statement on Facebook in which it thanked the 34-year-old professional for her services and expressed its condolences to family and friends.
“Your energy and good vibes will always be with us. Rest in peace Daniella Calatrava. We join in the grief that overwhelms her family,” says part of the statement.
Eight years of battle
It was in 2016 when Daniella Calatrava was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was then 27 years old.
Although it is presumed that this could have been the cause of his death, neither family nor close friends have confirmed the case.
The presenter spoke on several occasions about her condition.
“November 7, 2016 is a date that I will not forget, that day was my surgery and a month later I started my chemotherapies, I finished my treatment. Until now, thank God, everything is very good. I continue with medication and I will soon have one last study, I am not giving up,” she said in an interview she gave to El Sol de Tampico in October 2018.
