Now the developer studio has landed on a launch window for the project, and Black Myth: Wukong will arrive in the summer of 2024.

The release plans were revealed in a sneaky video the team has put together. This one, which you can see above, shows a rabbit apparently spending his entire life in a futile attempt to play Black Myth: Wukong. In the end, what appears to be the grandson ends up playing it, and the calendar hanging on the wall shows the year 2024.

The video also includes a small clip from the game itself, with a battle between the protagonist and a huge tiger-like creature.

Black Myth: Wukong is heavily inspired by the classic Chinese short story Journey to the West, and players will play as the Monkey King as he hacks his way through enemies in a highly acrobatic manner.

The game is scheduled to come to PC and what the developer describes as “other popular consoles”.
