The Bogotá Metropolitan Police handed over to the Attorney General’s Office the alleged murderer of the driver of the Integral System of Public Transport, Sitp, Flaminio Forigua Linareswho had been missing since May 5.
According to the head of the Siijn de la Mebog, Colonel Luis González, since the disappearance was reported driver, a specialized team from the Metropolitan Police began all the work to find his whereabouts.
“His family gave us several clues as to where the man’s body might be, the colonel added.
In turn, González indicated that during the inspection of a house indicated by the driver’s family, the authorities found his body in a state of decomposition.
Likewise, they found a man who was captured by his alleged involvement in the murder of Flaminio Forigua Linares. “The capture of a person who was left at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office was achieved and is now in the process of prosecution,” added Colonel González.
For its part, the Integral System of Public Transport of Bogotá, TransMilenio, expressed condolences for the death of the company’s collaborator, Flaminio Forigua.
“TransMilenio SA deeply regrets the death of Mr. (…) zone operator of the GMóvil SAS concessionaire, who had been missing since May 5. The facts are the subject of investigation by the competent authorities”, added the system.
TransMilenio extended its condolences to the Forigua family and to all the members of GMóvil, in light of this difficult moment.

Cristian Forigua indicated that his father never had contact with those criminal factions, so he discarded that information.
“If you investigate the neighborhood, the neighbors said he was friendly, he went from work to his house and from home to work,” Flamingo’s son told the press.
However, Cristian Forigua told Snail Radio that his father had many debts with the person involved in his murder, Álvaro Rojas, a tenant of the house and who is currently in the custody of the Prosecutor’s Office.
“We had already gone on Saturday, we had that feeling that my father had not left that house, that my father was in that house because it was very rare that all the neighbors said that he would enter through the garage door to leave his car and through that same door he left”, added Cristian Forigua.
Rojas was detained by the authorities after being found in one of the rooms of the house in which he had tried to bury the body of Flamingo Forigua.
At the moment the authorities handle two hypotheses:
- The first indicates that the alleged murderer of the Sitp driver would be Álvaro Rojas after a discussion over the months behind the lease.
- The second version indicates that the murder would have originated from an alleged money that Forigua lent to his murderer.
