It looks like next year will be an exciting one for Castlavania fans. The series’ progenitor Koji Igarashi has in an interview with the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu talked about how the team is hard at work finishing the final pieces of all the Bloodstained material so they can move forward. At the same time, his work colleague Shuntaro Lida has also mentioned how 2023 could possibly bring something big for the developer.

A sequel to Bloodstained has already been announced, so the question is whether his statement is about this or some other hitherto unknown game or collaboration. In any case, it sounds exciting and we can only hope for the best.
