On Carnival Sunday it was that time again – great joy and of course pure excitement prevailed before, during and after the club championship in Brand.
With fantastic sunshine, fresh snow and perfect slope conditions, a total of 70 racers in all age groups were at the start.
Motivation, the will to win and the fight for every hundredth were just as great for the youngest participant at the age of 4 as for the oldest participant at the proud age of 89. The atmosphere in the start area and in the finish area was excellent. All runners – whether young or older – were cheered on vigorously.
In the evening the award ceremony took place in the Löwen inn in Tosters.
Club champion 2023 voted themselves Anna Maria Walser and Florian Bayer. snowboard champion 2023 Amatus Lins.
This year’s family ranking was won by the Monika and Josef Bayr families, ahead of the Silvia and Reinhard Bayer families (2nd) and the Sonja and Peter Längle families (3rd).
The entire event from early in the morning in Brand to evening in the Löwen was a complete success and a wonderful get-together.
