The legislators that make up the Committee on Impeachment in the Lower House, chaired by the national deputy of the Frente de Todos Carolina Gaillard, will resume the debate on the second day, on Thursday, February 2to analyze if they open the impeachment process against Horacio Rosatti, Juan Carlos Maqueda, Carlos Rosenkrantz, and Ricardo Lorenzetti.
The intention of the official legislators is that the authors of the 14 files come to give their testimony that are under analysis in the Commission of impeachment. The first to expose their documents will be Vanesa Silley, María Rosa Martínez, Pablo Carro and Eduardo Valdés for the procedures promoted by the ruling party.
It is expected for that day too, the testimony of Paula Oliveto, for the two writings promoted by the Civic Coalition against Ricardo Lorenzetti. The pro-government National Senator Juliana di Tulio will present on two with a request for impeachment which he holds against the four members, in particular Judge Rosatti.
The declaration of individuals is also expected, among them the Argentine Association of Jurists, which requested impeachment at the time against the four courtiersand the Civil Association for the Enforceability of Social Rightsin this case against Rosenkrantz and Lorenzetti.
In order to move forward in the process, they must approve in committee, by simple majority, that is, the signatures of 16 legislators, the possibility of opening an investigation, based on the 14 requests that are in the power of the legislators, and then begin the stage of summary evidence.
