A ruling by the Italian sports courts today returned the 15 points taken from Juventus, where Leandro Paredes and Ángel Di María play, in the framework of the case of alleged fiscal irregularities.

The decision of the Court of Guarantees of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) placed Juventus as third in the Italian championship, below Lazio and Napoli, and now awaits the new judgment of the Appeals Committee of the Italian Federation (FIGC).

However, the club did not obtain the pure and simple annulment of the punishment as it had claimed. In this sense, Juventus is now in third place, with 69 units, two less than Lazio and 16 behind the leader Napoli, which is close to being champion of the Italian League.

This decision puts Juventus in qualifying positions for the next Champions League, which changes the planning for the next season, both from a sporting and an economic point of view.
