According to the company’s document, the planning is to launch the game during the second quarter of fiscal year 2023. As the fiscal period begins in April, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released between July and September 2023. in a fiscal report released by Nacon last Monday (23).
For now, the specific release date has not yet been revealed, but for a game that has already gone through three postponements, an expected arrival date is certainly good news for fans waiting for the title.
Adventure starring Gollum
The new game set in the universe of The Lord of the Rings will be played by Sméagol, the famous Gollum. The title will tell an unprecedented story in the saga created by JRR Tolkien, making players have to deal with their character’s personalities, with Gollum being the terrible side while Sméagol appears as the creature’s quieter personality.
