The productions of the Daredevil and Le Pengouin series stopped for an indefinite period

Superheroes on the carpet, overwhelmed by angry screenwriters. The production of the next Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again has been suspended for an indefinite period, due to the strike that has been going on in Hollywood for a month and a half.

Deadline reports that filming has just been halted, after three months on set, until the writers’ strike is over. Obviously, the producers believe that there is no point in continuing to film, as long as the scripts cannot be retouched (which is strictly prohibited by the WGA, the writers’ union, during the movement).

Same cause and same effects for The Penguin. The production of the spin-off series The Batman was also interrupted this week due to the strike. Deadline also states that The Penguinwith Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti in the cast, will not be able to resume until the conflict is over.

As a reminder, the last strike, in 2007, lasted 100 days.
