Weigl is currently on loan from Benfica Lisbon, but should remain in the foal stable for a fixed fee of 15 million euros. Virkus names the profile of other newcomers as follows: “In the areas of power, speed and duel strength we lack skills that we need to add. We want to get quality that will help us beat opponents like Mainz, Augsburg and Hertha.” A central striker has priority, according to Borussia’s squad planner.
