A 52-year-old man prevented a qualified robbery with firearms, when two men entered his home and tied up his son-in-law and daughter. The event occurred yesterday morning, in the town of San Pedro. The agents managed to subdue one of the criminals, while the other fled on foot.

Through police sources, this morning paper was able to verify that around 7 o’clock, the police station of the aforementioned town received a call from Alejandro C., who stated that a qualified robbery had occurred in the San Juan area at the home of Miguel M. .(52).

Given the alert, he immediately went to a police unit towards the aforementioned area. Upon arriving at the place, they found that the owner of the house was reducing one of the perpetrators of the act, along with his son-in-law Héctor A., ​​who is a police officer in San Vicente.

The uniformed officers quickly detained the criminal identified as Hugo M. (32), who according to those present, in the attempt to escape, threw a knife of approximately 25 centimeters in an area of ​​weeds.

When asked how everything had happened, the 52-year-old man indicated that he was in bed when his son-in-law Hector left the house to go to work. But at that moment, two men approached him – one of them with a knife and the other with a gun – and tied him up with seals on his fists. Upon managing to reduce him, they took him inside the house and made him kneel down.

As a result of the noise that this whole sequence caused, her daughter Pamela M. (22) -also an agent from San Vicente- left the room, at which time she was approached and threatened by the man who was carrying the knife.

Seconds later, Miguel rushed out of his bedroom, surprising the man who was pointing a pistol-type firearm at his son-in-law. The 52-year-old man stated that a struggle began and that the two authors fled to the mountain area.

Immediately, Miguel and Héctor began the pursuit of the criminals, managing to reach and reduce Hugo M. (32).

Likewise, the 22-year-old girl told her peers that the reduced would have a criminal record, and that she owns a red Volkswagen Gol, with sports tires. Given this, she set up an operational lock, with exhaustive route checks, in search of the aforementioned vehicle.

Around 8:30 a.m., during the search operation on National Route 14, they managed to observe a vehicle with these characteristics and stopped their march to identify the driver.

The Gol driver was identified as Sergio G. (28), who was clearly nervous. When checking the vehicle, the uniformed officers found the documents and driver’s license of the detainee in the first instance in the passenger seat.

For this reason, they arrested the driver and seized the car and the aforementioned documentation.

Police sources reported that they continue with the lock operation on routes, in search of a third perpetrator of the act, who would be the man who possessed the firearm when entering the home of the 52-year-old citizen.
