Misiones Police officers mounted a large operation after criminals took the sum of 300,000 pesos from a service station in Paraje San Miguel in the town of Colonia Aurora. Fortunately those indicated were arrested and the riot recovered.

Those involved, aged 20 and 24, were arrested last night in the Paraje Saltiño of the aforementioned town.

The event around 7 o’clock and it was the owner of the service station who stated that the criminals, after forcing the front door of the place, took the money that was in a drawer.

Due to this, the agents began the investigations to find the criminals and the stolen money. In these circumstances they established that two men were circulating around the station until around 2 o’clock that morning; closing hours.

For this reason, the investigators carried out inquiries in the area and at night they managed to find the suspects in Paraje Saltiño, when they were circulating on public roads. At the site they were arrested and kidnapped the sum of $294,000 that one of them had hidden among his clothes.

Finally, both detainees were transferred to the police station, where they will remain at the disposal of the Investigating Court No. 2 of Oberá. Meanwhile, the seized money will remain deposited until the rigorous procedures are carried out.
