They fire the young Nicaraguan murdered in Spain before repatriating her to her country

utrera.- The body of Erika Vanessa Reyes, the 22-year-old Nicaraguan girl allegedly murdered by her husband ago two weeks in the Spanish town of Utrera (south), he was fired this Saturday at a funeral home in the city of Seville before being sent to his country to be buried.

The farewell was attended by friends and relatives of the young woman, among whom were her sister, Ana, and her sentimental partner, with the coffin next to a poster with the image of the young woman and a message asking for justice.

The president of the Nicaraguan association in Seville, José Daniel Rodríguez, told EFE that he hopes that the repatriation can be completed next week, with a flight with a stopover in El Salvador.

To make the transfer possible, the Nicaraguan Seville-Spain Association has already raised 6,000 euros necessary to repatriate the body, counting on both private contributions and institutions such as the Utrera City Council.

“It has been news that has moved the entire Nicaraguan community, as well as Spanish society, but after bad news always come the gestures of solidarity from peopleand the Nicaraguan community, the Latin American community and also the Spanish community have responded to the call we made or the campaign to be able to repatriate the body,” he stressed.

The man arrested as the alleged murderer of Erika Vanessa is in pretrial detention and the investigating judge has called four witnesses to testify.
