Juarez City.- Relatives of Rodolfo Collazo de la Torre, one of the three employees of the National Institute of Migration (INM) linked to the process for the crimes of homicide and injuries -both intentional- against migrants locked up in the Juárez provisional station, held a protest this Saturday to demand justice. In a march that began in the Gran Patio shopping plaza and ended at the Social Reintegration Center (Cereso) number 3, family and friends made public their support for the public servant held for 16 hours since March 29 at the facilities of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) until the 30th, when they executed the arrest warrant. María Trujillo, Rodolfo’s wife, said that it is an injustice that she is committing against her husband, when she affirms that he is unjustly detained. “That is our disagreement as a family. We ask for justice and that the facts be clarified, that this be clarified, that the real culprits come out, that they not hide them, ”she urged. He explained that from the moment he was sent by his boss, Rear Admiral Salvador González Guerrero, to the FGR headquarters, to expand his statement, the irregularities began, as they detained him for more than 16 hours and once detained, they saw him again. in the hearing to formulate the imputation and then in the one to link to the process. That was how they found out about the magnitude of the charges against Rodolfo. Apart from that, no person in charge of the INM has provided them with information in this regard. “From there we have not seen him, he is detained in Cereso, they have not told me anything, we do not know anything about him,” he said. Let them investigate well, but they don’t want to do anything, ”she said, referring to the performance of the investigators of the Crime Investigation Unit for Migrants of the Attorney General’s Office. The detainee notified the federal Control Judge, Ernesto Cornejo Ángeles, at the hearing, that he previously suffered a stroke and required special medication, however, the family assures that he has not been provided with the medicine according to his needs. Trujillo affirmed that the life of her husband and her entire family changed radically and they are not well, physically, emotionally and economically.
