MIAMI.- Venezuelans In different parts of the world, this Saturday, August 3, they responded to the call of the opposition leader to Maria Corina Machado to protest against the electoral fraud perpetrated by dictator Nicolás Maduro to remain in power.

On Thursday, August 1, Machado called on the people through a video on her social networks to protest in a civic manner and with their families. She maintained that Venezuela won the elections on July 28 and urged them to remain “firm and organized.”

There were rallies in several cities in the United States, including Washington, Miami and Atlanta. “Maduro out!”, “Down with the dictatorship!”, “Edmundo González Urrutia is our president” were some of the slogans heard in Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. In Atlanta, chants were heard: “We know we won, Venezuela won!”

In Australia, the fraud was condemned and the regime’s repression, which has left at least twenty dead and more than 700 arrested, was halted.

In different parts of Argentina, Venezuelans also called to defend the victory of Edmundo González Urrutia, president-elect according to data provided by the opposition. From Neuquén they said that they have their hearts set on Venezuela, in support of the candidate of the opposition Unity: “We are going to get paid!”

During the protest in Berlin (Germany) The National Anthem of Venezuela was sung and the cry of “Down with chains” was heard.

In Bogota, Colombia, Venezuelan protesters gathered in Plaza Bolívar and said they will remain in the streets to reject Maduro’s fraud. They also joined the call of the opposition and several countries to the National Electoral Council (CNE) to show the voting records of the presidential elections of July 28.

They also held a minute of silence in honor of the Venezuelans killed this week during the protests.
