Twitter now shows how many people have viewed your tweets. Elon Musk posted on the social network about the “View Count”, saying that this is normal for videos and shows how much Twitter users read, but do not tweet, reply or like, as they are public actions.
Previously, it was already possible to see interaction information about a published tweet, but only the author could view the data. This feature allows the person who wrote it to see how many people interacted with their tweet, how many clicked through to view their profile, and even the number of hours the post was seen on Twitter. However, now the count of views of a post will be public, that is, anyone will be able to see if the tweet is very popular or not.
Check below the tweet of Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter:
Twitter is rolling out View Count, so you can see how many times a tweet has been seen! This is normal for video.
Shows how much more alive Twitter is than it may seem, as over 90% of Twitter users read, but don’t tweet, reply or like, as those are public actions.

Release and availability
Unfortunately not all users already have access to the view count on Twitter, but in the coming days the feature should reach 100% of social network users. Note that the functionality is being made available only for the mobile version (Android and iOS).
Twitter’s sudden decision to block links to rival social networks
Last weekend, the Twitter support profile announced that users who share links from other social networks may be temporarily banned from the platform. Shortly thereafter, the tweet about the announcement was deleted and Elon Musk apologized saying:
Going forward, there will be a vote on major policy changes. I’m sorry. Will not happen again.
