A traffic accident that killed two men occurred late Friday afternoon in Weissensberg, Germany, near the Vorarlberg border. The men were traveling in a vehicle with Bregenz license plates.
On Friday, January 20, 2023 at around 5:35 p.m., a Mercedes Sprinter and a semitrailer collided on the B31 near Weißensberg. A 40-year-old driver of a sprinter drove with his 38-year-old passenger on the B31 in the direction of Sigmarszell.
Crashed head-on into semitrailer
For reasons that are not yet known, the vehicle turned left into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into an oncoming trailer. The 40-year-old and his passenger, both from the Bregenz area, were so badly injured in the impact that they died on the spot.
The public prosecutor’s office in Kempten has commissioned an expert to clarify the course of the accident.
