Two people linked to the criminal group were arrested Tepito Unionthe two insured men would be responsible for extort to merchants of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office in Mexico City.
The individuals were identified as Bruno “N” 33 years old and Sandro “N” of 30, the latter has a valid arrest warrant for homicide qualified. Both carried 350 packages of presumed cocaine40 small bags with possible dopeas well as capsules, cash, a cell phone and exclusive Army cartridges.
“According to the investigations, the detainees appear to be part of a criminal group that operates in the downtown area, who are possibly in charge of collecting money from extortions to owners of restaurants and bars in the Roma – Condesa area”, informed the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City.
The seizure of the men was the result of elements of the SSC in the capital receiving complaints coming from restaurant and bar owners. In the statement shared by the authorities, it was possible to read that surveillance and reconnaissance work was carried out in the Centro neighborhood.
In this way, those now detained were identified in a blue vehicle with plates from the State of Mexico that they sped up when they saw the uniformed near. After being captured, they were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry so that their legal situation could be defined.
Just last May 4, the arrest of other two presumed members of the Tepito Union that they would be behind the kidnapping and extortion of a woman. On that occasion, the detainees were identified as Dante Ulises, 27, and Jean Iván, 16.
After carrying out an information exchange, it was detailed that Dante Ulises has a income to the Prison system of the CDMX for crimes against health in its modality of drug dealing in the year 2021. The victim was rescued and told the agents that she entered the truck that the men indicated to her because she was afraid and that the subjects threatened to kill the woman if he did not give them money and also accompanied them.
As a result, a truck, a motorcycle and two cell phones were seized, material found after a review by the authorities. The authorities also reported that the motorcycle insured is related to investigation folders for the crimes of kidnapping and extortion.
Another man was arrested on April 26 in Mexico City. It was about Christian “N”who is also known as The hamburger and who was captured after searches at the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office. The authorities indicated that he would be a drug operator and distributor for a criminal group.
“In the first address, the seizure of probable narcotics was carried out, with characteristics of cocaine, marijuana, solid substance; two mobile devices, as well as the arrest of a man, who today is known, by virtue of the intelligence work of the PDI, that he is possibly drug operator and distributor of a criminal group; during the second police action, green grass was secured.”
For his part, the journalist specializing in security issues, Antonio Nieto, indicated that The hamburger I would be leader of the Tepito Union in Azcapotzalco and explained that he would also be the brother-in-law of Jonathan “N”, alias the pegasusthe latter identified as a generator of violence in the capital of the country.
Just one day later, on April 27, Cristian “N” was linked to the process and was issued preventive prison for his alleged responsibility in the crime of drug trafficking.
