Undertaker is one of the biggest names in WWE history, and is easily associated with WrestleMania history due to the streak who stopped at the big event.

Away from the rings for a few years, fans have speculated on several occasions about a possible return of the “Deadman” for one last fight, not least because his last one didn’t happen in front of an audience.

In an interview with The Independent, Undertaker was asked about his life after the ring reform, and said:

I’ve now reached the point where if I’m home, I’m fine. It’s when I show up at a WWE event that I feel like “I should be preparing myself”.

“The Phenom” also spoke about the experience of attending WrestleMania 39, and how he thought he should fight there.

At WrestleMania 39, I was there and I had my family and friends in a suite watching the showand I kind of found myself rocking in my chair thinking “Oh my God, I should be there”.

So, in those cases, it’s there. It’s still in my heart and in my brain.

The Undertaker’s last appearance on WWE programming took place on Raw XXX in January of this year, in a segment with Bray Wyatt.
