Mexico City.- Víctor Manuel Félix Félix, Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera’s in-law, was issued a formal prison order in Mexico.

Also known as Raúl Castro Rodríguez, Félix Félix, linked to the Sinaloa Cartel, was deported from the United States on May 2.

This Tuesday, the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reported that through the Specialized Prosecutor for Organized Crime (FEMDO) it obtained the order of formal imprisonment against this subject indicated for being probable responsible for the crimes of organized crime and operations with resources of illicit origin

After the work of the Public Ministry of the Federation (MPF), attached to the FEMDO, in the First District Court of Federal Criminal Proceedings in the State of Tamaulipas based in Matamoros, the judge issued the formal prison order.

Víctor “F” is linked to a criminal organization for which he allegedly carried out bank movements in Texas, New York and California in the United States of America, as well as Cancun, Guadalajara and Mexico City.

“To do this, he used exchange houses and commercial companies to hide the origin of the resources,” said the Prosecutor’s Office.

On May 2, at the San Ysidro Bridge, in Tijuana, Baja California, on the occasion of a controlled deportation from the United States of America to Mexico, elements of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM), attached to the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), sub-headquarters Matamoros, Tamaulipas, complied with the arrest warrant against Víctor “F”.

The in-law of “El Chapo” was admitted to the Federal Center for Social Readaptation Number 14 of Durango.
